Mo Money, Mo Pounds

Well, I've reached at least one good point this year. I now have over 3,000 debt free dollars geared towards getting this year's property (or two). It wasn't easy and I wish I had 4k with April coming up, but I'll take it.

The MPS (Matt Philly System) allows me to lose only $200 when I throw out the downstairs tenant at Property Chi. This is because, when I move in the new tenants (most likely in May), they will pay the security deposit and first month's rent-- the equivalent of April and May's rent. I know it would be better if I was paid for the April that the idiot would be in my property looking for a new place to live, but the MPS is designed for a certain amount of money per property, per month. Everything else is extra.

I asked a date to take pictures of me because she's a photography major (and I needed an excuse to get in her house), and she did them very well. I looked at the computer printouts and realized something: I am a fat fuck. My cheeks look inflated, my gut is bigger, and I have been extremely sluggish in the mornings. I weighed myself on her scale and I weigh 240 lbs, the most I've ever weighed. This revelation has forced me to stop rationalizing my double chin ("...in THIS angle I don't see it) and my gut ("...if I suck it in, it ALMOST looks like a six-pack"), and do something about it. So I'm doing P90X.

P90X is an extreme weight-loss program that includes video and different but delicious foods. As far as costs go, I downloaded the actual videos and only needed to buy the chin-up bands, a gym mat, and the P90X Recovery Drink (about $120). The foods will be about the same prices overall that I pay now, so this will not negatively affect my real estate goals. My real estate goals are the most important thing this year but, if I can get healthy by simply changing my diet and doing some exercise, then why the hell not?
